Ferdinand is a gentle young bull who loves nothing more than relaxing under a cork tree and enjoying the scent of flowers. Unlike the other bulls who enjoy roughhousing, Ferdinand remains calm and peaceful as he grows larger and stronger. One day, five men arrive to select the biggest, fastest, and toughest bull for the bullfights in Madrid. Due to a mix-up, Ferdinand is chosen. This story is inspired by the beloved 1936 children’s book by Munro Leaf.
