In “The Union,” Mark Wahlberg plays Mike McKenna, a regular construction worker who gets caught up in the world of spies when his old high school girlfriend, Roxanne, asks him to help with a big U.S. intelligence mission. Even though the movie has a great cast, the story is far-fetched, and the action scenes are dull. The chemistry between Wahlberg and Halle Berry isn’t enough to save this Netflix spy comedy. The action isn’t very thrilling, and there aren’t many surprises. Overall, “The Union” doesn’t do much to stand out among other spy movies.
